Over 50 of our favorite things for the outdoors.
Between recording new episodes of the Captains Collective and traveling the world with Drifter Fish Club, we’ve had a lot of fun this year. We’ve fished a lot of water, tested a lot of gear, and shared a lot of good moments with good people.
And somewhere between early-morning coffee and late-night gear checks, we started talking about how strange it feels to scroll through massive online retailers looking for gifts—especially when so many incredible local shops are right here in our own backyards.
So this year, we decided to do something different.
We teamed up with Strike Zone Fishing in Jacksonville, Florida to put together a holiday gift guide built from real-world use, not algorithms. These are the things we’ve worn out, broken in, trusted on boats, traveled with, lost, replaced, and recommended to friends.
It’s not a list of stuff you need, because most of us don’t need more stuff.
It’s a list of things that help make time on the water better—and that support a local shop that’s been taking care of anglers for more than twenty years.
